As Mike and I were mulling topics over, we felt we should dig into the roots of retro and how some games can really hold up the test of time. So the first system we’ll be talking about in this series is the NES. Why not Atari, you say? Because come on, folks, the graphics for that system was straight up butt ugly. I respect what it did (but not for what didn’t do [well]) for games of the past, but a lil’ island off in the far East not only resurrected the video game industry into what it is today with amazing gameplay, but with stellar graphics, as well. Some companies were really able to hone in on the craft of developing for the system after x amount of experience. And even when it looks good now, just imagine how blown our minds were when we first came across it. We’re looking to discuss what we thought were some of the best looking games for this system. So please join us as we talk about some graphically superior games of the past, and keep an eye out later down the road for more retro systems we’ll be looking to cover. We know that you guys should be able to enjoy this episode!
And stick around after the main show in our bonus segment where you can chime in on what you think were some of the best looking games on the Nintendo Entertainment System and we will give you a shoutout and discuss!
